RFID Printers

AARFID offers a line of card printers and label printers. The selection of card printers include EDIsecure XID 580ie Retransfer printer and EDIsecure XID 590ie Retransfer printer. The selection of label printers include 13.56 MHz and 915 MHz printers. The available 13.56 MHz printers are Zebra's R2844-Z, an RFID printer-encoder, and Zebra's R110Xi HF, a fully integrated HF RFID reader and encoder. The available 915 MHz printer is an on demand RFID label printer or the Zebra's R110Xi.

ABSS produces an RFID printer on a XiIIIPlus platform - the R110Xi. The RFID printer features on demand printing, XML and ThingMagic UHF RFID reader module. The R110Xi prints four inch labels and is upgradeable to support new applications.

Datamax-O'Neil supplies RFID-UHF and RFID-HF printers that are capable of writing data to RFID tages, querying the tags's identification numbers and calibrating tags automatically. Datamax's RFID-UHF printers are available in in the A-Class, H-Class and M-Class Mark II. It supports EPCglobal and ISO standard. Datamax's RFID-HF printers are available in M-Class Mark II, H-Class and I-Class. It supports the ISO 15693 standard at range of 13.56 Mhz.

Intermec provides the PM4i RFID printer and the PF2i RFID Baggage Tag Printer. The PM4i RFID printer is a bar code printer that creates RFID smart labels. The PF2i RFID Baggage Tag Printer is ideal for airline and transportation industries.

Printronix offers a range of UHF RFID printers: the SL5000r, SL4M and SLPA8000r. The SL5000r is an RFID printer for true Gen 2 RFID encoding. The SL4M is a 4 inch UHF RFID smart label printer and encoder. The SLPA8000r encodes, prints and applies tags at a speed of 100 labels per minute in resolutions of 203 and 300 dpi.

SATO America's offers RFID printers such as the CL408e RFID, CL415e RFID and M8485Se RFID. The CLe Series printers are high performance and high value printers that support EPC Class 0+, 1, Gen 2, I-Code, and Tag-it. The CL408 and CL412 have a memory of 18-20MB, 4.1" wide print area, 203/305 dpi print resolution and plug-in interface modules. The M8485Se RFID is a high speed print engine that supports EPC Class 1 and Gen 2. It has a 203 dpi resolution, 5" wide print area, print speed of 12 inches/second, plug in interface modules and 18-20 MB of memory.

Tharo Systems produces the H-Series RFID label printers or the H-427R and H-436R. The H-Series printers integrate sthe UHF RFID EPC and DoD Gen2 tags. H-427R has a resolution of 203 dpi and H-436R has 300 dpi. Ribbon capacity is up to 450 m with a 203mm or 8" outer diameter label roll capacity.

RFID Shop sells RFID printers: Toshiba TEC B-SX4T, B-SX5T and Zebra R4Mplus. The B-SX4 has a 203 dpi resolution, 32 bit CPU, 4 MB flash memory, and print speed up to 254 mm/sec. The B-SX5 has a 306 dpi resolution, 32 bit CPU, 4 MB flash memory, and print speed up to 203.2 mm/sec. Zebra R4Mplus supports the EPC UHF and ISO 18000-6B UHF protocols with a 203 dpi resolution and print speed of 254 mm/second.

Weber offers RFID printer-encoders such as R4Mplus, R110XiIIIPlus and R170XiIIIPlus. The R4Mplus RFID printer prints text, bar codes and graphics and also encodes EPC UHF Class 1 smart labels that are 4.5" wide. The R110XiIIIPlus prints 4.5" wide smart labels and encodes EPC UHF Class 1 and 0, Matrics' O+, ISO18000-06B and Gen 2 protocols. The R170XiIIIPlus prints 7.1" wide smart labels and encodes EPC UHF Class 1 and 0, Matrics' 0+, ISO 18000-06B and Gen 2 protocols.

Zebra produces a selection of RFID printers and encoders such as RP4T, RZ400, RZ600, R110Xi, R110Xi HF, R170Xi, R110PAX4 and R2844-Z. Zebra's RFID printers have resolutions of 203 and 300 dpi with widths of 4.0" to 6.6".
