Automated Storage Retrieval Systems

AW Systems automated storage and retrieval systems are an integration of several material handling products and software designed for storing and retrieving loads to and from defined storage locations. Products include horizontal carousels, vertical carousels, vertical lift modules, and fixed aisle storage and retrieval systems.

The Vidmar Vertical automated storage and retrieval system will allow you to manage up to 132,000 lbs. of materials from one convenient computer console. This system is entirely modular in structure and offers flexible picking bay options, high density storage, unlimited drawer configurations, computer based operation, flexible management software, fast picking, indoor/outdoor installation, and safety and security.

AS/R Systems offers rebuilt carousels, vertical lift modules, lifts and sideloaders, custom software, and replacement parts. Services offered include carousel system maintenance, facility layout and design, equipment leasing, operations research studies, one time slotting, and transition management and training.

Vistamation offers automated storage and retrieval systems as a means to high density, hands free buffering of materials in distribution and manufacturing. Offered are unit load, mini load, and carousel automated storage and retrieval systems.

Excel offers most types of ASRS crane systems from high capacity mini-load cranes and racking, to high-bay warehouse cranes. Their standard range of AS/RS cranes includes fixed aisle and aisle transfer crane shuttles. Excel Automation AS/RS systems can handle products ranging from standard pallets to painted car bodies and aircraft components. Abel Womack offers the Daifuku mini load; a high speed, high density buffer that can replace conventional static racks to maximize vertical storage space in small areas. The mini load moves and stores irregularly shaped goods placed in stacking totes, collapsible totes, nesting containers and cardboard boxes. Items are transported to and from the mini load by conveyor, shuttle fork, side belt, Side clamp, sorting transfer vehicle or automatic guided vehicle.

TriFactor offers horizontal and vertical carousels, as well as mini-load systems typically used for order picking operations for small parts or small item picks. Carousels can be nested together. As an example, an operator can pick product from one carousel while the other carousels rotate so that parts will be ready to be picked when the operator is ready.

SDI Group offers AS/RS systems for today's modern warehousing environment.
