Pyxis Technologies develops lean manufacturing cells. An example is their Mono-Tube Cutoff Machine. It cuts a mono-tube in half creating two strut tubes using one electric motor and a heavy-duty pipe cutter wheel. Approximate cycle time is 26 seconds.
